Lemon-honey water is an Ayurvedic recipe that has been getting a lot of Internet attention.
How to make it: Use juice of 1/2 lemon and 1 teaspoon raw honey per mug of warm water. The water should be hot enough to dissolve the honey, but not boiling. Raw honey should be used rather than pasteurized honey, because pasteurized honey is chemically different from raw honey and is not recognized by the body as food. Pasteurized honey is not recognized by bees, either.
