1. Stop taking your smart phone into the bathroom with you.
2. Don't watch television while you eat.
3. Take a walk around your block and count how many new things you can see that you have never noticed before.
4. Go outside, lie on your back, and look up.
5. Do one thing at a time.
6. Look at your friends when they are talking to you.
7. Eat a fresh-baked cookie in a cafe somewhere and try to guess what ingredients are in it.
8. Take ten minutes out of your day to just sit and drink some herbal tea.
9. Play with your children...without the television in the background or taking breaks to check your Facebook, texts, or email.
10. Eat a meal with your family or a friend. No phones or television allowed; just conversation and enjoying one the company of one another
